Everybody Loves ... ME!

Hello Rabble,

I want to thank everyone who came out to see me this weekend for Everybody Loves Opal, a "prank" in three acts by John Patrick. The theatre was so full that I had to give up my seat so that others could watch the show.

I know what you're thinking, but no, I am no longer in Everybody Loves Opal. There were certain stipulations in my contract that apparently were "too demanding" to be met. I do not think it is unreasonable to ask for my own private dressing room. Sure there are six other members of the cast but they can all share the other dressing room. They are only human after all.

So instead, I get to mingle with the guests. I thought someone would be polite enough to share their snacks with me but Daddy Cates' coconut cake was too good to share apparently! There was not a single piece left. And the Cookies by Sandy were gobbled up and no one shared even a crumb with me.

Mom says I shouldn't have "people" food anyway but I disagree. So, don't be afraid to share with me when you come to the show (hint hint).

Everybody Loves Opal runs for two more weekends. Be sure not to miss this hilarious show!

Since we all know the real reason you come is to see me, I will be available for pictures before the show during intermission and after the show.
