
As a visual artist, Elizabeth McMillan is a still life, landscape, and portrait painter. She is also a photographer. McMillan earned a BA from University of Virginia with a major in English and minor in Visual Arts. She studied four years at the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts, primarily in painting with Auselis Ozols and in classic photography. She exhibits work in several New Orleans galleries and group shows. Her work is in numerous collections. Ms. McMillan is also Director of Advancement for the NOCCA Foundation, the support for the NewOrleans Center for Creative Arts, one of the country's preeminent high school arts conservatories. She has worked for the NOCCA Foundation for 28 years, directing fundraising and programs. She has extensive experience in major gifts fundraising, capital campaigns, major special events, and publications.
